What makes a home custom?
We work with you from the design phase forward. Not only do we have plans available for you to choose from and modify, but we also have architects that we can recommend to draw something specifically for you. Because we modify plans based on your needs, you’ll get exactly what you want. Not only are the plans uniquely yours, but the touches are all hand selected by you. Using our selections guide, you are able to customize every detail in your home.
Parks Home Construction services a variety of locations in Kaufman, Henderson, and Van Zandt counties. We can also build on your lot anywhere around Cedar Creek Lake, Richland Chambers Lake, or Lake Athens. In addition to building on your lot, we often have inventory lots available in those counties.
You do not have to have plans selected to work with Parks Home Construction. While we are happy to use plans you provide, we also have an in house selection of plans that we can customize to meet your needs. Feel free to reach out with your desired specs, and we can find something that suits you.
This varies based on the size of your home and the finish-outs that you choose. We request that you complete your selections as early in the process as possible so lead times on materials don’t interfere with your schedule. A rough estimate is between 6 and 9 months from ground breaking to completion.

Because we are fully custom, your personalized package is designed to include exactly what you want. In the pre-proposal stage, we request that you identify everything that you’d like to be included in your home. By including landscaping in that list, it will ensure that your proposal is accurate and comprehensive.
Yes! We work with several pool contractors and are able to build in the cost of your pool into your residential contract.
Parks Home Construct offers a 1-year workmanship warranty in addition to a 10-year bonded builder’s policy. A comprehensive closing packet is provided that highlights coverage, maintenance recommendations, and trade specific contact information. Warranty requests are able to be submitted through our website for your convenience.
While we love making your dreams a reality with a custom home, we occasionally have inventory homes available and often work with investors on rental properties, AirBnB homes, and more. Additionally, we also can help with your remodel.
